The Lord is Waiting on You
A call to action to all of those who have procrastinated in doing the assignment God has called you to. He is waiting to partner with you and do mighty things on the earth.

“Go present yourself to Ahab and I will send rain on the earth" (1 Kings 18:1). God is sovereign and He can move on the earth inspite of you, He however wants to partner with you to get His will accomplished. We like to think of Elijah and great prophets of old as heroes of the past, and they were, but they were also men and women like us who simply exercised their faith and stepped out in obedience.
“Go present yourself to Ahab and I will send rain on the earth” (1 Kings 18:1). Notice the order of the sentence. Elijah had to take action first and then God moved. By faith Elijah obeyed the word of God, presented himself to Ahab (who wanted him killed) and what resulted was God's supernatural manifestation on Mount Carmel and the removal of the drought (1 Kings 18).
Even before there were signs of rain coming, Elijah prophetically told Ahab to look out for rain (1 Kings 18:41). By faith Elijah once again believed the word of God, moved and told his servant to look towards the sea until the manifestation of rain was evident (1 Kings 18:41-46). My friends what has God said to you, what has He called you to that requires your obedience and step of faith? My encouragement to you is know that you too can be great like those we see in the Word. By being obedient and exercising your faith, you too can see God's manifested presence within your life. Don't delay in executing your assignment. Go and watch God move!
Prayer
Lord I thank you for Your word and instruction. I pray for boldness to exercise my faith and to complete the task and assignment You have called me to. I can find myself in the Book and like men of old, accomplish great things on the earth, witnessing Your manifested presence. Forgive me for doubting and procrastinating. Let me make haste and be diligent with what You've placed in My hands, in Jesus name Amen.
